How to with Halley- Indoor Christmas Decor

The most wonderful time of the year is a great opportunity for me to go crazy with decor! I have such a fab time listening to my favorite Christmas tunes (AND singing them at the top of my lungs while the dogs howl) while decorating my home from top to bottom.

This year, Chris agreed to a Griswold Christmas! We got a giant tree and decorated the outside of our house with too many lights to count. The tree alone has 1900!
We laughed as we got the job done, reciting our favorite cousin Eddie quotes. It was so much fun for us to do together. I'm so grateful Chris loves to be involved with what makes me happy. He knows he's in big trouble when I say, "Hey babe, I just got an AMAZING idea!"

For my indoor decor, I love to stick with classic white, silver, and gold. I even throw in just enough pink on the tree to where Chris won't say it's too girlie. ;)

I LOVE this beautiful nativity scene I found at Hobby Lobby last year.
The tree came from Kirklands and the nutcracker was found at TJ Maxx. The furry "snow"? White boas from the Dollar Tree! You can't beat that!

Remember this beautiful "Joy" decor from How to with Halley?
Well, I changed it up a bit this year. Instead if a wreath, I used a piece of wood my Papa cut for me. I love the way it looks! I also used larger pieces as a base for centerpieces on my tables to tie it all together.

You can learn to make your own "Joy" Decor here:

Remember what I like to call "Princess Trees" from How to with Halley?

These aren't just great for Birhday party decor, I love using them in my Holiday center pieces! Don't they add some extra fun? The vase they're in was a vase I dolled up from our wedding. I found those at Garden Ridge and glued Diamond Mesh wrap on them. It's filled with ornaments from the Dollar Tree. You can also make a Holiday letter like my "C." Supa easy! Grab a wooden letter from any craft store. Get some garland from the Dollar tree. Hot glue the garland to the letter. Last, trim the edges of the garland so you can see the letter better.

Watch here to make your Princess Trees: (TIP: Since this video, I've changed my method. It's much easier to use your hot glue gun rather than pins to hold the boa on.)

Just look at how easy repurposing some of your year round centerpieces can be! Add some ornaments and voila!

I found this adorable chalk board at Kirklands. This is one of my fave quotes from The Grinch.
The cute knobs it's hanging on? I replaced the old ones with these from Hobby Lobby since it matched my decor perfectly. They also add a fun pop of color to the wood.

I hope you guys have enjoyed my Indoor Holiday Decor ideas! What is your favorite style of decorating this time of year?
